THE LOCAL PLAN, WHERE WE ARE NOW..!!
The Local Plan, the blueprint for Sefton’s development until 2030, has just reached another crucial stage. The public examination by the government inspector, Mr Martin Pike, ended its five week hearing on 15th January and we await his initial preliminary report towards the end of this month. After this, there are various stages, including further public consultation, ending in his final deliberation later this year.
Once Again We Thank You
As residents you have been very generous with your support, financially, morally and some even giving expert advice.
Like you we are just concerned residents. We have grouped together to fight plans that we feel are detrimental to our beautiful area. We have given our time and money, but without all of you behind us we could not have come this far.
So from all of us at Maghull & Lydiate Action Group, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us. The fight is not over yet, but we will be here for as long as is necessary.
